Multiple attempts were made to install drivers, reboot computers and printers, etc all to no avail. I was twice referred to Canon by Apple and both times lost connection.they learned they are closed on weekends! Although Pixma Pro 100 is a fairly recent computer, they and I came to think that the Canon's were not compatible with the Catalina OS.

I spent 2 HOURS with Apple with "computer share" where they tried everything to get a printer to print something and always came up with the error message.

Unfortunately the two printers I have (Canon MP560 and Pixma Pro 100) will not work. I just purchased a new 2020 Macbook Pro running Catlina and retired my iMac 2009.
